The Story Behind the Glow

Every time I walked into a new space, I was doing the same quiet calculation that a lot of women do. Is this place for me? Am I welcome here? Will I be safe?

I have spent a lot of my life on the move. Solo road trips, cruises, planes to places I had never been. As a queer, neurodivergent woman and an adoptive mother of two Black women, I learned early that the answer wasn't always yes. Figuring out where you'd truly be safe, who would actually see you, and what a trip would really cost you emotionally — that work almost never shows up in a travel brochure. I have loved people whose identities put them at risk in spaces that should have been welcoming. These experiences are not footnotes in my story; they are the reason this business exists.

I also spent 20 years building a career I was proud of. Population health. Managed care. County and state governments. Multibillion dollar health plans. I showed up, I delivered, and I poured everything I had into systems designed to help people thrive. I am nearly halfway through my doctorate in Public Health. On paper, I was doing everything right.

And yet — something was missing. I wanted to build something that was fully mine. Something that didn't just serve a system, but served people. Something rooted in joy, not just outcomes. I had spent two decades helping others navigate complex systems. I wanted to spend the next chapter helping people I love navigate the world.

Moon Migration Co. is what passion looks like when it finally has room to breathe.

Because travel is not a luxury. It is part of how we stay whole. And women, queer travelers, and BIPOC communities deserve a guide who actually understands what it costs to move through a world that wasn't designed with you in mind.

I don't just book trips. I vet destinations for genuine safety and welcome, curate experiences that reflect your values, and show up as a trusted partner from the first conversation to the moment you arrive.

This is your season of joy. And I'm finally living mine.
